Super Mario Bros

Super Mario Bros

The Japanese company Nintendo Company, Ltd. made Super Mario Bros. as a computer game for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1985. Because it was based on Mario Bros., the game helped start one of the most popular gaming series ever. The main characters are Mario and Luigi, two Italian plumbers who end up in the Mushroom Kingdom and have to save Princess Toadstool from King Bowser. More than 40 million copies have been sold, making it one of the most popular game series.

In the original Super Mario Bros., one person can play as Mario by themselves, and another person can play as Luigi. The game is made up of a bunch of side-scrolling levels. Each one is full of enemies, from Goombas that look like mushrooms to Koopa Troopas, which are evil turtles. Different places are used for each level, like tunnels and above ground. At the end of castle levels, there are fights against people pretending to be Bowser. After Mario or Luigi beats the fake, a resident of the Mushroom Kingdom tells them that the princess is in a different castle. Being able to beat the real Bowser and save Princess Toadstool is the end of the game.

Enjoy the old-school game that will take you back in time. In Super Mario Bros., you can play as the brave plumber and fight Bowser to save the girl. You need to get different power-ups, jump from platform to platform, and stomp on baddies to save Princess Toadstool!
